Just to prove that I do actually cook once in a while, here are some photos of the first meal Yun & I cooked as a couple.
This was from the Bride & Groom Cookbook (thank you Williams-Sonoma), and although the cabbage left a little to be desired (it was a little mushy and the flavor was good, but not fantastic), the chicken which was stuffed with goat cheese, sage & prosciutto was as good as I could get at any nice restaurant.
Our version of strawberry shortcake, for which we used the store-bought cake with fresh strawberries and a

sour cream-powdered sugar concoction that I was experimenting with for another desert. All in all, pretty tasty, but no Bisquick. I have to admit that I much prefer a crumbly Bisquick "cake" with frozen strawberries. I don't know what it is about frozen strawberries, I can't get enough. I suppose I DO know what it is, it must be the sugar.
And just because it's so beautiful, here's a close-up of our red cabbage shot with our new toy, the Canon EOS 40D.
